Fourth film draft

This is what our opening looks like now! We have changed the order of our shots and added in the director's credit.
We now need to finish the titles, making the names and their credits appear together. We are almost done synchronizing the sound.
The date for our extended deadline is on Friday the 27th, and hopefully we'll be done before then!

Third film draft

Here is our third draft! We have added in the voice over with the background music and we have decided on the font for our titles, which we said we would do by today!

However, after hearing the feedback from our class, the A2 media class and Miss Foster, we have decided to take the advice on board, change the order of our shots, and cut a few bits out. We think this new order  might work a bit better, because our film title currently comes in at 1:53 which is really late, and our new order works to have our title come in at around 1:00.We are also trying to get as close to 2 minutes as possible, so cutting a few bits out is probably necessary.

After today we have to change the order of our shots, resynchronize and alter the music, make the name titles bigger, and cut a few bits out. We remain hopeful that this wont take too long!

Second film draft

This is what our film opening looks like after today's editing session! We are happy with the order of the shots, and the way the title of the film looks. However, the track we made does not synchronize with the visuals so that needs to be edited; some of the titles don't appear for long enough; we still need to add in our voice over; we may need more shots for continuity; the production company logo is not finished AND we still need to cut the opening down. We are currently at 2 minutes and 18 seconds.
We feel that we still have quite a bit to do but we're working really hard to get it finished by next Friday, which is slowly creeping up on us...

First film draft!

This is where we are currently at with our film opening. We obviously have a lot to do!
We are unsure about the background music, as it doesn't fit in some places so we are going to try and make it sound more distorted. We also haven't added our voice over in yet.
We haven't completely worked out the order of our shots, and whether some of them are relevant. We thought adding transitions on iMovie when changing locations would work, however we have come to realize that this looks a bit silly, so we might need to shoot some more for the purpose of continuity, or find a way to make our current shots flow more smoothly into one another.
The titles are not yet added in, and we have not chosen the title font yet so we are also going to change that.
We hope to get our sound done by early next week and we also hope to finish the majority of our editing by the end of next week, giving us enough time to make any last minute changes.
